LAB10 - the data

During Labour’s Annual Conference we processed and analysed 35,652 tweets. Here are our top-findings.

Of the 93 Labour MPs on Twitter, 60 tweeted during the conference. You can download the data here.

The top trends from the conference were Labour’s leadership selection, David Miliband’s departure from front-bench politics, unions, shadow cabinet nominations, cuts, the Tories, the ‘new generation’, the Iraq war, voting reform and the ‘good society’. You can download the data here.

After the Miliband brothers, the most mentioned politicians at #Lab10 were Ed Balls, David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, Nick Clegg, Alistair Darling, Harriet Harman, Diane Abbott, Andy Burnham and Neil Kinnock.

@BBCLauraK was once again the most mentioned journalist. While, @skynewsbreak and @newstatesman were the most tweeted news sources.
