Tweaking our Home Page

Today we’re releasing a revamped version of our home page. The aim is to bring fresh content to the forefront of Tweetminster.co.uk.

We’ve made it easier to access our Channels, these are pages that bring together live content and trends around topics, and we’ve integrated in the home page a module to list the most shared links by influencers across current affairs.

All the content in this module, and within our channels, is ‘curated by data’. Tweetminster’s technology firstly dynamically identifies ‘influencers’ - the individuals, sources and organisations that people pay the most attention to. Simply put, influencers are the ones shaping opinion across current affairs. We then analyse the most mentioned links amongst influencers and the reach of the content they are sharing - in other words, we’re extrapolating ‘trending links’. Finally, we identify and display trends within the content and networks analysed.

All of this is happens in near real time, and collectively provides a unique snapshot of current affairs.

We are currently developing ways to share content, data and trends beyond the existing Tweetminster platform - stay tuned, and in the mean time, we’d love to hear your feedback.
